Ster fractured his wrist. Poor boy.
Sterling had the opportunity to go with a friend up to Island Park for the weekend. And let me tell you - once I got past the paranoid stage of him being gone (and I got over the election/webpage mishap), I enjoyed the weekend very much! While we were putting in the sprinkler heads I didn't have to hear "I'm hot" or "I'm bored" or "I'm hungry". I started to miss him Sunday afternoon. It was fun for him - he went fishing, riding a 4-wheeler, and all sorts of fun stuff (while fishing, he caught our friend's dog). He had a blast.
Then they come home and I feed him dinner and he goes to play at Paul's house.
(side note: he went with Paul and Paul's grandpa, who is our neighbor)
They come back and get a bit bored. Paul is an active child (which we love) and he has gotten Ster out and about. Paul wanted to ride his bike. Ster did not. So I told Ster that he either went in and had a shower and then went to bed - or he head out with Paul for about 30 minutes and then come home. So he went out riding a bike with Paul.
Ten minutes later, here comes Paul with no Ster. At first, I thought Paul must have left him in the dust. Then he said Ster crashed and thought his arm was broken. Yikes! I sent Tim (in his truck) to fetch him because I didn't want to see any blood or anything like that. I knew it wasn't good when Tim came flying around the corner. Off to the ER.
Ster was more upset because it was his "gaming arm" and he wouldn't be able to play video games.
Little fart.
