What a relief!

We have had an offer!  I can't tell you how relieved we are.  So far, it is verbally accepted and we should get the final paperwork after Christmas.  We've done the negotiation and their realtor said they have agreed and will sign the paperwork. I can't tell you how relieved I am!  I will be praying really hard this weekend that they don't back out!

And, progress is finally being made on our home!  The exterior is half done - stucco up and they were putting up the rock today.  I was a bit worried because when Tim showed me the pictures a couple of days ago, it seemed awfully dark.  I guess they paint it?  Who knows.  All I know is that I am so excited to see this progress!  The tile is almost complete in the bathrooms.  The driveway and walkway have been poured.  Sooo exciting!

Now, I am not one who likes darker colors.  I like things to be lighter - which is why I fell in love with our white cabinets in our current house.  Tim put a halt to me choosing white cabinets in this house.  But I fell in love with the dark cabinets we (me) picked out.  I can't wait to see them in!!!  It is so hard not to make daily trips out there to check on things.  I know I would get really frustrated with the lack of fast progress.   Cuz I want my house finished next week!

This is Ster's closet - he chose this room so that he had the bigger closet than what my niece will have.  Tim wasn't really happy that I made him do that.  At least we only see his rear end and not the funny face he ALWAYS makes when I pull the camera out!

Here is Nikki's closet - twice as big as her current closet.  She is just happy to finally get some room!
Now - after Christmas and the paperwork is finally signed then I can relax.  I can relax because the paperwork will mean that it is closer to officially being a done deal and traffic will be returning to normal and I don't have to keep muttering "idiot" under my breath.  Okay, so it is muttered loudly until Ster starts to say it and I have to keep telling both of us that it isn't nice to call someone an idiot just because they don't know how to drive.
