Halloween

I hate Halloween!  I love Halloween fabric and love the quilts.  But I hate costumes and candy and trick or treating.  Okay, so I love candy - but it gets to be too much.  It isn't even November 1 and I am not wanting any more candy!  I can't believe people give out full size candy bars!  My co-worker was one of the nice ones, so he tossed me a snickers.  I'm not one to turn down a snickers, but it doesn't even sound tasty.

But....Sterling still loves the whole costume thing and trick or treating.  So.....we went trick or treating.  Since he didn't want to call his friend, I was blessed with the chance =(

We didn't walk that far, but it seemed like we walked for miles and miles.  My legs and feet feel like we have walked for miles and miles. 

And speaking of Halloween - I absolutely love AMC this time of year.  Many opportunities to watch scary movies.  For some odd reason, I want to watch all of the "Halloween" movies - but they are never on one after another on a Friday or Saturday when I can watch.  I want to go from start to finish!  But Ster can't be around and that creates another problem.  Anyway, I watched one of the Chucky movies - the one where he is all messed up but has the bride doll.  Cheesy!  I thought it was supposed to be scary but it was pretty darn cheesy.  I guess all of the older horror movies are cheesy.  I don't think I'd want to rent the videos - because at least some of the gore is cut out when it is on tv.  right?  Maybe I am just closing my eyes at the right times =)
