We met some soon-to-be neighbors tonight. They are building down the street from us. As we were talking about these homes, we discovered that both us our families knew it was time to move and both of us had looked in the past but couldn't do it for one reason or another. Both husbands have served in the military. Both families could only afford the homes we chose because of the low interest rates and the VA loan saving us PMI - otherwise we both would have had a much smaller home. So much in common!
And both families sold our homes to American Homes 4 Rent.
Go figure! How ironic is that? We were probably one of the first homes in Utah that they bought because no one had heard of them - and when we looked on their website, they didn't have any homes listed here. Our new neighbors sold their house to them and then their friends sold their house to them.
Way too funny!
