There are some

VERY unhappy campers at my house.

First of all, I am sick.  Again!  This time it is only a cold - so the only reason I'm runnin' to the bathroom is to get tissues.

Second of all, I am sick for those families in CT.  My heart literally hurts for them.  How could he do that?  Those poor kids.

Third, and this is totally selfish in light of what happened in CT, but our move in date has been moved back.  Yep, we were told it would be the end of January now - if we are lucky to get it back on schedule.  See, the first foreman on the project didn't exactly schedule things very well.  The entire week Tim was in Florida, we expected to see a lot accomplished - but all that was done in a full week was a little bit of sheetrock.  We found out that they fired that foreman.  The new foreman has been with Ivory Homes for 13 years and knows his stuff.  He is hoping to get things back on track, but we are now looking at the end of January.  I guess the ONLY good thing that comes out of that is it gives us a couple extra weeks to try to sell this house.

In our new subdivision, there are 4 houses under construction - two have been sold and two are "spec" homes.  The old foreman had scheduled one of the spec homes to get the outside up before our house - and we started a month before the spec home.  Not pleased.  Not at all.  Apparently our ex-foreman was fairly new and couldn't schedule things nor keep on top of things.  Tim met with the new foreman today and while they were talking, the new foreman had called up the sheetrockers to tell them to get over to the house and finish up and also called the exterior dudes and when he was told they were going to the spec home he told them that was not going to happen and that they had better get to our house today and start.  Poor guy.  He now has 4 more houses he has to get built.

You will hear my screetches if we have any more delays!  I MUST get out of this house!
